About us:
In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists - but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew - and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.

    On the hair appliances I suggest buying a flat iron or curling iron with euro plug before your trip. I have one I’ve had for six years bought on eBay works great, my daughter bought a flat iron with euro plug on Amazon. No need to bring a hair dryer everywhere you stay should have one.

    Hi again :-) I was going through your video again to see if I could find where the cabin they assigned me is. It seems I got assigned a cabin on deck 10 which is rated, on cruise expert sites, as "to be avoided at all costs". *sigh* I knew it. Even a travel agent told me to immediately ask for a change. ANYway, I seem to be right at the entrance to the solarium pool (kids) and the childrens' area (squok club). I think it's also where main events are held? Do you have any idea? People have given me suggestions for where to go to have some quiet away from the plethora of kids (someone wrote that a group of children and teens were running down the halls doing the "knock and run" at around midnight, creating chaos with noise....) BUT I'm wondering if you're familiar with the area where my cabin is? 1074 (not deck 1, but 10). Thanks! (trip's in 10 days! I'm like both of you, I've been to all the ports, but Valletta will be nice to see, as will Split -- everything else, staying on board LOL)

    • @monaragab8136
      @monaragab8136 3 дні тому

      Heyy, fun fact, Gelato and ice cream are actually not the same, gelato has a lot less fat than ice cream which makes it a lot lighter and also healthier, so it's basically less cream and more milk. Therefore they also taste a little different :)

    If you avoid any and all bright colors regardless of flavor, you will almost only find fake touristy places. Like the overly ornate fancy one you visited here. THAT is fake. No real local business puts this much effort into looking 'artisanal' for tourists. At the end of the day, it's ice cream, local gelaterias sell a lot to children, and blue 'smurf' flavor is extremely popular with kids. You're looking for muted colors in the adult flavors specifically, like pistachio.

    • @ketchup8239
      @ketchup8239 3 дні тому

      yeah that rule isn’t really applicable every time, sometimes even shops that make really good gelato has mountains because they have just refilled it(since just made gelato has air naturally). It’s a red flag just when it looks like a 90s commercial gelato (looking a bit fake and too perfect). Following a crowd is also a big no no, some places are just popular because of social traction but aren’t that convenient nor good…

    • @mellowsign
      @mellowsign 3 дні тому

      @@ketchup8239Some places are popular because they have good branding and a good location. Look at the one in this video, that is a perfect location to catch tourists, who actually lives on that street, I'd bet money that it's all illegal AirBnBs.
